• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, and negotiating contracts to achieve favourable terms.
• Establish clear policies for supplier selection and contract negotiation. 
• Negotiate favourable terms for price, payment schedules, and service level agreements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to align with the company's overall objectives.
• Forecast market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance.
• Conduct due diligence on potential suppliers. 
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans and diversifying the supplier base.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for audit purposes
• Lead, manage, and develop the procurement team.
• Manage the procurement budget and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Resolve disputes and address procurement-related issues in a timely manner. 
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and align procurement activities accordingly.
• Report on spending, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior leadership. 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

12+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles. Preferably having experience of procurement for machines & equipment's related to Mineral & Mining segment.
