Job Description

Do you want to be a Project Manager for Steel Work Design and Installation for Baggage Handling or and Logistics System projects all over the world?

Do you have experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project and would you like to develop yourself in this field, then take this opportunity to support our global airport and logistics projects.

Play a key role in large-scale projects.

As a Subsystem Project Manager in Steel Works in our Organization, it is your job to create and maintain the project time schedules for our projects together with the other project team members. As a Project Scheduler you report to the Senior Manager, Project Management and Site Integration Department.

You are working consistently to keep our schedules updated and progress to the dynamics of our projects. Your responsibilities are:

 

  • Project planning and control including Schedules / Specifications / Finance / Quality & HSE.

Ensure all trade personnel, material and equipment is available to support projects.

  • Ability to read structural drawings, connection details, structural steel knowledge/experience.
  • Regularly inspect work for quality and ensure adherence to project and PE's specifications.
  • Collaborate and maintain positive relationship with engineers, customers, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and regulations.
  • Follow up on all fabrication and installation job fit up, welding and inspection.
  • Attend and actively participate in site safety meeting, offsite meeting, site installation inspection.
  • Maintain documents and records, work with professional engineer for authorities' submission.
  • Understanding and compliance with all Authorities' and BCA's regulations and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience preferably in Engineering environment
  • Committed and good team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, ability to quickly identify problems and provide efficient solutions.
  • Structured and well-versed in documentation and reporting. Proficient in Microsoft office and Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Requires technical knowledge of overall steel structures, its design and operational skill, to be able to logically coordinate project with customer and the project team.
  • Able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
