To further expand our team in R&D we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide strategic direction and leadership for R&D projects, aligning with organizational goals and priorities. You'll join a versatile R&D team comprised of experts in vision, software developers, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Together, we'll innovate to craft future material handling solutions, ensuring competitive, reliable time-to-market for new products while maintaining strategic ambition.

As the new Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the development that makes a difference in the market. This is accomplished through meticulous project management, fostering innovation, ensure proper risk and time management, all while maintaining a keen eye on the customers as well as the financial contribution to the business. Moreover, you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the organization, ensuring alignment on project objectives, priorities, and deliverables.

Your tasks include:

  • Collaborate with R&D team to identify opportunities for technology transfer and cross-functional collaboration, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Scope management, time management, risk management, quality management, resource management and financial/budget management of projects
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, optimizing processes and methodologies for enhanced project outcomes
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex R&D projects, leveraging advanced knowledge of engineering principles and emerging technologies
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, customers, suppliers, and research partners
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated issues and resolution, mitigating risks and addressing challenges proactively to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services

Skilled Project Manager within Innovation
We expect you to have a relevant educational background, M. Sc. within in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Moreover, we expect you to have several years of experience from project management within Innovation, preferably within the field of automation, robotics, digital products, or similar in a global organization. Preferably you understand or are experienced with agile methodologies.

You have experience navigating in a complete stakeholder landscape and can analyze and understand complex structures and systems and use excellent communications skills when presenting this. You take pride in setting an example and supporting your colleagues in an engaging and motivating manner, showing inclusive attitude. You have a can-do attitude, others describe you as outgoing and proactive, professional, and trustworthy, and you are strong in creating followship. Furthermore, you are required to be fluent in oral and written English.

Moreover, you:

  • Have minimum 8-10 years of experience in project management within an R&D or technology-driven environment
  • Have a proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional innovation projects
  • Have experience in strategic planning, innovation management, and technology commercialization
  • Are a great facilitator with focus on dialogue as well as people skills with focus on leading and developing project teams
  • Are preferably fluent in oral and written Danish
