In the Strategic Procurement team, you join 8 colleagues who provide procurement support for our many projects in the BEUMER Group. Together, we ensure an efficient and flexible supply chain with the best possible commercial conditions and minimum risk. Drive international project procurement from A - Z

As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the definition and implementation of the category strategy in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders. With responsibility for your category, you handle procurement of electrical components such as power panels, sensors, motors, cables, etc. In doing so, you will be working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and your task will be to offer the best possible support in determining the best solutions and ensure a stable security of supply.

More specifically, it will be your responsibility to:

• Perform procurement market analysis
• Define supplier map, lead commercial negotiations, and draw up contracts
• Manage supplier development (performance, quality, etc.)
• Create transparency regarding procurement spend
• Ensure visibility of procurement and the category in organization
• Stakeholder management and ensure good cooperation with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation as well as external suppliers

Strong in procurement and stakeholder management

You have excellent stakeholder management skills and know how to network and communicate at all levels. Furthermore, it is important that you can gain an overall view of complex challenges, enabling you to assist with meeting product/project requirements and finding the best procurement solutions. In addition, we expect that:

• You either have a technical background, e.g., as Engineer or construction technician combined with commercial experience – or, you have a commercial degree and technical experience.
• You have some years of experience with international procurement (internal/external) and are familiar with procurement processes and know how to negotiate procurement contracts.
• You have some years of experience with procurement and are familiar with procurement processes and know how to negotiate procurement contracts
• You are a strong negotiator with clout when it comes to suppliers, and at the same time you are good at listening to the internal stakeholders
• You speak and write English fluently
