As our new Senior Automation Engineer, you become part of our CrisBag team in the Automation Controls department. Here, you join app. 60 creative and highly skilled colleagues in Airport Engineering, with whom you create the solutions of tomorrow.

Play a crucial part in defining the future structure and architecture

As the Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for defining a stabile structure and architecture for the CrisBag Product and adapt industrial standards to fit Beumer CrisBag. You take part in all the project phases, from specifications trough PLC programming, design, testing and commissioning. In the projects you and your colleagues design and programme the control systems for our baggage handling systems worldwide. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of the product to secure peak performance and agility.

Take the lead and take responsibility

As you master the system architecture and programs, you will take on responsibility of the automation product part of our CrisBag product taking the lead in defining the structure and architecture. As an essential part of the role, you will participate in project definition and review meetings.

Skilled Automation Engineer

• You are a skilled and experienced PLC/Automation Engineer with experience in Siemens TIA
• You have experience with STL (Statement list) and SCL (Structured Control Language)
• You have experience within object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of PackML and PLCopen.
• You have experience with developing PLC code for larger project-based machines
• You speak and write English fluently
• You have some experience with technical project management/stakeholder management and possess strong communication skills.

You possess an inclusive mindset and enjoy sharing your knowledge and discussing the best solution with your colleagues, and you actively seek their advice and encourage them to come to you with the best result. Also, you have a playful spirit and enjoy finding solutions to solve complex challenges. You have years of experience with machine building and PLC programming. Experience from a similar position and/or experience as a Technical Team Lead is an advantage.
