Create the technology for our future product
As you learn our systems you will take part in the automation part of our projects. In the projects you and your colleagues design, programme and configure controls for our baggage handling systems worldwide. You take part in all the project phases, when relevant, from specifications trough PLC programming, design, testing and commissioning and will be a dedicated member of the Airport team.

Our expectations
We expect that you will manage tasks from A-Z with support from our Team Managers and colleagues. The projects will normally include:

• Help clarify the functions required by our customers with our sales and systems department.
• Support the team in making functional and detailed design specifications for approval.
• Review and edit product specifications which will be used to specify functionality towards the customer
• Take part in the development of the automation delivery.

You will have an Automation Engineer as a regular mentor, but we expect a high degree of knowledge in acquiring and processing information regarding the technical solution.  You will weekly be asked to present project status to the Automation Team Managers, in order to ensure progress.

Gain valuable experience and create value
The end goal of your work with BEUMER Group will be a well-documented and tested solution that complies with the quality BEUMER Group is well-known for. We should be able to directly integrate the solution into our standard product portfolio.

As an intern, you become part of our Automation Controls team within Airport. Here, you join a team of creative and highly skilled colleagues. You will be provided with a dedicated mentor, ensuring that you will have all the necessary tools and knowledge to get going, and who will be supporting you during the entire internship. Knowledge of the TIA-platform will be an advantage

During the internship you will also be able to socialize with your fellow interns, where you can share your experiences and get to know each other.

You are currently studying Marine Engineering & Technology Management or Electrical Engineering or similar and are available to start your internship in February 2024. The internship will last appr. 5 months – the exact duration will be arranged with your coming manager.
