This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in steel construction, and the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary and multinational team. You will ensure that the project meets all technical requirements, adheres to safety standards, stays within budget constraints, and meets the scheduled timeline.

• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the technical team in implementing and executing construction plans, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance to project stakeholders, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and refine the technical strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, with a focus on technical requirements and feasibility.
  • Ensure project plans, specifications, and drawings comply with international standards and local regulations.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications, providing expertise to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with the design team to optimize steel structures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify potential technical risks and develop contingency plans to address challenges that may impact the project timeline or budget.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from the project specifications and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Budget and Schedule Management:
  • Work closely with the project management team to develop and monitor project budgets and schedules.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and/or acceleration opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Stakeholder management:
  • Liaise with clients and consultants to address technical concerns and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Communication:
  • Foster effective communication among project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical, architectural, and construction teams.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and presentations as required.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Manager on large-scale construction projects, particularly in stadium construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of complex contractual requirements.
• Extensive experience in client-facing roles, able to effectively engage and manage client interactions.
• Adherence to local and international construction regulations and environmental standards.
• Clear communication and ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent English language skills. Additional languages, especially Arabic can be a plus.
• Open to work across all countries of the Middle East.
