Job Description

BESIX Watpac have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Desk Team Leader to join our Information Technology team based in Fortitude Valley (walking distance to the Valley Train Station). You will be responsible for improved business outcomes through management of the IT Service Desk team.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Provide day to day management to a team of IT Support Technicians and Service Desk Analysts in key areas such as productivity, escalations, quality of work, training and performance management.
  • Lead incident management, problem management, root cause analysis and change management while adhering to internal processes.
  • Monitoring of service level performance to avoid breaches.
  • Establish and develop relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports and metrics on team performance against service delivery targets.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Service Desk Leader or Management role.
  • ITIL V3 Foundation required.
  • Demonstrated high level of problem-solving abilities with an ability to participate professionally and cohesively within a team environment, manages shifting priorities.
  • An excellent communicator who understands the business needs and can articulate in technical terms.
  • Is a team player who succeeds in a fast changing environment, producing accurate, timely and professional outputs.
