Job Description

  • Implement and administer the contractual and financial processes for the project in accordance with company procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date cost control reporting, and proactively driving company safety policies and procedures
  • Represent the company professionally and understand client needs, while supporting project managers and senior managers on the project and taking an active role in the development of project administration staff
  • Prepare detailed working budgets and establish the financial control system, monitor budgets, identify opportunities and risks, and prepare financial reports and cash flows
  • Ensure compliance with head contract conditions and prepare monthly payment claims and variations, while reviewing and negotiating commercial issues with subcontractors
  • Maintain confidentiality and assist in the administration of practical completion requirements of the contract, while ensuring subcontractor statutory requirements are being met

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of financial and contractual processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills including experience with financial management software
