Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) manager working in an international project in Qatar, for the construction of onshore production facilities (i.e., greenfield and brownfield work) which includes marine work environment.

• Safety, Health and Environment related NVQ Level 5, Diploma or Post-Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or higher (BSc, PgCert, PgDip, MSc).
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
• TapRoot® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader (or equivalent RCA tool).
• Grad IOSH or CMIOSH.
• First aid / Fire warden certification.
• Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and Breathing Apparatus training
• Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (mandatory for offshore) / T-BOSIET

Profile:

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant managerial working experience in Safety, Health and Environment.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in marine works project, in an oil & gas regulated environment. Project execution experience in large-scale project is required.
• Experience managing multicultural and multidisciplinary HSE teams.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain effective work relationships and you are a good team-player.
• Experience in barges / vessels work environment.
• Experience in heavy/critical lifting operations (marine environment included).
• Knowledge in diving operations.
• Completely aware/familiarized with emergency response procedure and fire prevention controls.
• Awareness for COSHH and environmental compliance.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, any additional language is an advantage.
• Familiarized with Permit to Work system in greenfield and brownfield work environment.
