We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accountant within the Joint ventures accounting team.

As a member of the Joint ventures accounting team, your role is to manage from A to Z the accounting of several Joint ventures in Belgium.

• For the AR process you are responsible for preparing, processing and following up the sales invoices;
• For the AP process you are responsible for the daily tasks such as booking purchase invoices, handling the reminders etc;
• For the tax process you are responsible for the VAT returns, Intracom Listing, Fee forms (281.50), Customer Listing, VAT current account reconciliation, etc;
• For Payment tasks you are responsible for preparing payments, booking bank statements, etc;
• For quarterly closing, you are involved for:
  • preparing a balance statement, intercompany/partners reconciliation, etc;
  • gather the accounting information for the joint ventures managed by partners;
  • ensure the link for the integration within the BESIX SA accounting.
• Actively support/monitor Joint ventures incorporations/closures.

• You hold a Bachelor in Accounting, Accountancy or Taxation or equivalent level through experience.
• A first work experience in accounting is a real asset (including internship experiences).
• You have a good level in Dutch and in French, knowledge of English is a plus.
• You are accurate and methodical.
• You are dynamic, open-minded and inquisitive.
• You enjoy working in a team.
• You have a good knowledge of the MS Office package.
• You show great interest in the construction sector.
• You are prepared to work daily at our headquarters in Brussels.
