Job Description

BESIX Watpac are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our highly successful North Queensland construction team, leading the delivery of a state-of-the-art project in Townsville.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements project from tender handover to completion to provide a safe workplace at all times.
  • Delivery of the project in accordance with the company’s procedures.
  • Manage and review the timely completion of the works pursuant to the project program, including the administration, financial management and reporting for the project.
  • Be responsible for the management, coordination and quality of the works to be performed.

Qualifications

The incumbent in this role will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Established experience in managing the delivery of building projects to completion.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a collaborative and effective project team.
