• Ensuring that the estimation procedures are thoroughly followed, being responsible for selection of tenders;
• Overall study of tender documents and the scope of work, allocating tasks to subordinates and;
• Leading pre-tender and post-tender meetings and discussions;
• Required to attend to queries of clients/consultants, study the general and preliminary items needed for the project;
• Having an excellent track record of achievement within a related role from a background in marine & site engineering, site management or quantity surveying;
• Liaise with different departments for technical submission of tenders;
• Study all the tender documents, brief the top management about the project details and obtain the best offer of subcontracted items according to the tender documents;
• In addition, you will be expected to finalize the rate analysis, direct and indirect cost including profit and overhead for the tender with top management and prepare the preliminary budget after the award of the project.

• You have an in-depth knowledge of cost analysis and tenders;
• You gained experience in the execution of civil, marine works;
• You have experience to write and/or criticize method statements;

Your profile:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or any related discipline is a must;
• Candidate must have a minimum 10 years of relevant marine and/or heavy civil construction experience;
• Marine, dredging, deep foundation, pile sheeting, mass excavation, utility projects, storm water, bridges , coffer dam experience required
• Design build or similar alternative project delivery methods is a plus
• The ability to estimate other areas (structural, civil, etc.) on smaller projects is a plus;
• Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem-solving;
• Able to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
