• Ensuring that the estimation procedures are thoroughly followed, being responsible for the selection of tenders;
• The overall study of tender documents and the scope of work, allocating tasks to subordinates and;
• leading pre-tender and post-tender meetings and discussions;
• You will be required to attend to queries of clients/consultants, study the general and preliminary items required for the project;
• Having an excellent track record of achievement within a related role from a background in site engineering, site management, or quantity surveying;
• Liaise with different departments for technical submission of tenders;
• Study all the tender documents, brief the top management about the project details and obtain the best offer of subcontracted items according to the tender documents;
• In addition, you will be expected to finalize the rate analysis, direct and indirect costs including profit and overhead for the tender with top management, and prepare the preliminary budget after the award of the project.

Skills and Competencies:

• You have a in-depth knowledge of cost analysis and tenders;
• You gained experience in the execution of building works;
• You have experience to write and/or criticize method statements;
• You serve as a role model for your other team members, and take the lead in solving new or difficult problems;
• You seek consensus and are a good listener;
• You are an excellent communicator both to internal and external parties;
•  You are able to negotiate at high level and in complex environments;
• You are professional, entrepreneurial and result-oriented;
• You have a high degree of flexibility and adaptability;

• You are civil or industrial engineer in construction;
• You have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience with expertise in estimating large civil works projects or in large and complex building projects;
• You possess in-depth practical and theoretical knowledge to deal with situations within your work area in a background of conceptual understanding;
• You have a good knowledge of ICT;
• You have a good knowledge of English;
