BESIX Water & Environment is the department of BESIX in charge of overall support (from business development to engineering, execution, operation and maintenance) to environment projects, mainly related to water (but also biogas, waste-to-energy, hydroelectric, heat networks, etc.) with inhouse process and electromechanical engineering capabilities.

SUMMARY

• He/She will be Project Manager or deputy Project Manager depending on type and size of projects.
• He/She will manage all aspects of the Project manager of Engineer Procure and construct type of projects in the environment sector.
• He/she will be able to participate on projects from the offer stage till the project delivery.

DETAILS

• During tendering, execution, start-up & commissioning, O&M till project completion, she/he will be involved as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager depending on size of the project and responsible for:

           §  Setting-up and Coordination of all technical aspects of the projects (between civil, process and electromechanical aspects), creating, coaching a team of experts.

           §  Coordination between civil, process  and electromechanical installations.

           §  Plan and follow-up of the design activities during all phases of a project.

           §  She/He shall ensure:

• deliverables according to general schedule,
• conformity with the contract, the tender documents and the offer,
• creative solutions to improve reliability and minimum risks and improve the schedule.

           §  Follow-up and coordination between suppliers/subcontractors/design team/civil contractor / clients / partners. She / He shall coordinate and lead design and production meetings with all stakeholders

• Size of project may vary from about 1 million EUR to about 50 million EUR
• Location of project is Benelux and International.

• Minimum 8 years of similar experience (tender or execution) of project management in the MEICA, environment, or construction sector.
• He/She, shall have detailed engineering knowledge in Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation
• Knowledge/experience in water treatment potable water, pumping station and biogas is recommended
• He/She should possess knowledge in the different steps of the design and built project of industry, environment or water treatment.
• Minimum 8 years of similar experience (tender or execution) of project management in the MEICA, environment, or construction sector.
• International experience is a plus
• Candidate shall be fluent in German; French, Dutch and English (level C1 or above) is a plus
