Job Description

BESIX Watpac are looking for a enthusiastic and diligent team assistant to join our Victoria head office supporting our state senior leadership team. Key responsibilities of the role will include; 

  • Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
  • Support VIC State Manager & Senior Management Team with diary coordination and ad hoc administration.
  • Coordinate meetings onsite and off-site as required for the VIC senior leadership, including monthly and quarterly audit meetings.
  • Manage expenses for the VIC Senior leadership 
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statement for VIC Senior leadership
  • Manage & reconcile Head Office petty cash.
  • Assist with Event/function coordination including creating and implementing new social events
  • Assist and drive usage of BESIX Watpac administration tools such as BESIX
  • Assist with meeting room bookings and catering requirements.
  • Reception & Visitor Duties when required 
  • Ordering office supplies and stationary
  • Travel Management 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have following qualifications

  • Solid experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.
  • Proven ability to build and lead an effective results driven team.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
  • Proven high level of professionalism, maturity and candour in daily work ethic.
