Job Description

Reporting to our Group Corporate Affairs Manager, you will make a meaningful contribution to the execution of our business strategy by developing and managing our communication priorities to support brand positioning.  This includes positioning and promoting our people, projects and capability while building advocacy internally and externally.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Develop and deliver external communication strategies and tactical plans that position BESIX Watpac’s brand and services within our strategic growth markets.
  • Manage and develop corporate publications such as the annual report, capability statements, project and people profiles.
  • Manage the BESIX Watpac corporate website and support content development for social channels.
  • Assist senior leadership to optimise industry and government partnerships and align communication strategies for key pursuits.
  • Manage and leverage industry memberships and sponsorships, including client and partner events.
  • Strengthen and further define our brand positioning through creative, engaging multi-channel communication campaigns.
  • Support development and promotion of our Corporate Social Responsibility and internal initiatives.

Qualifications

This role will suit a passionate communication professional, comfortable with operating at the strategic and practical level.  You will have demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communication, or a related field
  • Established experience in professional services marketing or communication.
  • Experience in managing multiple communication strategies and delivering to program deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal corporate communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts into easily understood language.
