Neanex is a start-up based in Antwerp that has developed its own Digital Asset Register, the Neanex Portal. We provide a total solution in the cloud for smart online collaboration between architects, engineers, contractors and clients in the infrastructure and construction sector. The Neanex Portal is currently being introduced on various projects in Belgium and the Netherlands for the entire project life.We help project managers in the AECO industry (Architectural, Engineering, Construction & Operating) with software that eliminates failure costs.

You as a Construction Management Consultant supports our customers with advice, configuration, implementation of software tools & analyses of information processes.

Ambition

Our ambition is to be the world’s first company to successfully integrate the use of concept and design data in a coherent and consistent development process, without offering a one-size-fits-all software solution. Neanex Portal is a Digital Asset Register that combines and links project information from different sources. As project data is easily enriched within Neanex Portal and shared to other applications, it serves as the foundation of a Digital Twin as a Digital Twin Register.

The Neanex team

This team is responsible for improving business processes of clients using digital tools for information management. 

We offer Information managemement as a service.

The team is responsible for designing semantic information models, configuration of our Neanex Portal software platform and advising and training clients on formal ways of working. 

Examples of projects are: 

• Implementing Neanex Portal within the IT-landscape of an Asset Owner or Contractor.

• Information management support for a large infrastructural construction project.

• Implementation of Systems Engineering methods and tools in one of the largest engineering firms in the world.

Responsibilities of Industry Lead Consultant

• Spot opportunities with existing clients so we can convert directly or discuss with the commercial team to take it on and be of support towards CCO to implement commercial strategy.

• You know the challenges of our industry and more specific of our clients and target market. So you can set up the right value propositions we can offer with our service and technology.

• As an experienced member of a team of 7- 10 consultants, and still growing, you develop your skills even further on a technical and commercial level.

• You take on large projects yourself with our key accounts. You lead by example and deliver what we promise. You always see where we can upgrade our services in quality and quantity.

• You build a network within our existing client base and even commercial events like seminars, pitches, network events and presentations to share our vision with the world is your place to be.

• Keep track of the trends in the market so we can stay frontrunner and discover new added value for our industry.

• You ensure that all deliverables are achieved in accordance with our ambition and standards and with respect to timelines and budget as agreed with the client and in line with our consultancy year plan and business objectives.

• As one of the Lead consultants @Neanex you help to oversee and coordinate the activities related to consultancy together with your team, head of consultancy and COO.

• You keep track of and take ownership of how we perform for our clients together with the CCO.

• Ensure that you and junior consultants reach their billability objectives.

The main goal is to drive business development by providing high quality integrated consulting solutions that support a seamless user experience while implementing the Neanex Portal ( our digital asset register solution) as well as third party tools (like Laces from Semmtech, Relatics, QA/QC tooling, ...). 

• You love to onboard junior profiles by supporting them on technical trainings, consultancy skills and getting to know the business and Neanex way of working. 

• You give input towards how we can offer the best value propositions to the market and you go the extra mile, based on your own findings, to feed the development roadmap, set priorities and goals to develop our Neanex platform to fit our customers' needs.

• Your consultancy colleagues and the management team are your sparring partners in pushing the Neanex team forward and sharing knowledge.

• You lead by example because of your energy & dedication to the projects you work on and you can take on juniors in your journey.

• Support the commercial team ( COO en CCO)  in preparing demo sessions and proof of concepts for our clients & prospects.

You strive to make Neanex the partner for information management in the AECO sector with strong expertise on the one hand and a top notch software platform on the other.

Education

• Candidate needs to be educated on a Master level with a technical background in applied technical sciences (architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.), information management or information technology.
• Minimal 5 years experience as a consultant preferably in the construction or related industry.
• A plus is experience in a lead role to manage and support our junior consultants.

We are a young, dynamic company, currently 20 people and growing, aged between 23 and 45. We are well-funded start-up and therefore financially stable and growing up to our potential step by step.

We have a firm understanding of software development, but also an expertise in semantics and information modelling. And of course we know the domain of our clients, mainly active in technological industries like construction, engineering and infrastructure. 

Neanex is based in Belgium in Antwerp, next to the railway station Antwerp-Berchem and close to Antwerp Central. Our office is easily reachable by public transport from all major cities in the area. Most of our colleagues live in cities nearby and some as far as Amsterdam.
