Job Description

Based in our head office in Newstead, this hands-on role will support our Qld, NT & NZ business unit to manage and deliver the end-to-end submission process in alignment with business strategy and objectives. 

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparation and management of submissions in alignment with the work winning process and Bid Excellence Framework for small to large tenders, proposals, Expressions of Interest and sole-source submissions.
  • Coordination, resourcing, writing, formatting, editing and submission of bids in accordance with client deadlines, compliant with BESIX Watpac's corporate identity and branding guidelines.
  • Collaboration and partnership with organisational leaders to achieve key submission management goals and outcomes.
  • Preparation and management of client team interactive workshops held during the submission process, and any post-submission interviews.
  • Management of a network of external submissions suppliers and consultants.
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of the bid submission process.

Qualifications

The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a multi-sector construction or related organisation, delivering successful submissions for small, medium and large projects.
  • Proven ability to manage several complex tasks simultaneously to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach working within a small and flexible team environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a sound working knowledge of In Design and MS Office suite.
