For our inhouse engineering department we are looking for a concrete technologist / concrete expert.

• You will assist sites and the BESIX Engineering Department in the choice of concrete specifications and advise sites on methods of concrete treatment and curing;
• You advise sites and clients on durability and temperature effects;
• You offer advice on concrete mix designs and select the raw materials for concrete production;
• You start up batching plants on international sites;
• You establish concrete production quality systems;
• You will be involved in the improvement of concrete technology and be constantly seeking economical savings during the tender, construction and maintenance phases of projects;
• You give internal training sessions and assist in the development of a system to share concrete technology knowledge;
• In this role you will get the chance to become a recognized concrete specialist inside the BESIX Group and towards our external partners.

• Civil or Industrial engineer in construction with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in concrete technology;
• You are passionate about concrete and you wish to become a recognized expert on concrete technology within Besix and towards external partners;
• You are flexible to travel within the Benelux and abroad on short notice (trip of 1-3 weeks).
• Analytic mind, flexible and client focused
• Fluent in English and in French and/or Dutch
