For a new projects (buildings) based in Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Christchurch, BESIX Watpac is looking for Senior Technical Office engineers.

Your Main Tasks:

• Ensuring that the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and material needed to carry out the works
• Preparing construction method statements and risk assessments
• Development of the job safety analysis
• Prepare temporary works drawings and site related design drawings
• Daily coordination with the subcontractors and assisting in the preparation of the work requisition for the subcontracted works
• Setting up of technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers received from the subcontractors and follow-up of the subcontracted works
• Follow-up of the permanent work design and coordinate this with the site
• Preparation of work requisitions for all required permanent materials and material submittals
• Follow-up of the deliveries and invoicing of these permanent materials

Profile

• A degree as civil engineer in construction or similar
• Between 5 and 15 years of relevant experience within a construction company 
• You identify with our core competencies by possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, being innovative and result-oriented while promoting teamwork
• You possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mind and you are client focused
• You're ready to settle in Australia
