Job Description

Are you a driver of  internal change and transformation? Are you passionate about helping people adapt to organizational and systems transformations? Do you want to play a strategic role for the leader of construction in Belgium ? As a change & transformation manager you will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies, job roles and organization structures. You will be a key business partner to the different departments and business units helping them to make needed transformations.

You’ll create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption and usage of new initiatives by honing methods of effective and sustained behavior change and minimize resistance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking to act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. It’s also an opportunity to play a key role in implementing fast and effective change across a company, ensuring new standards are met in a timely manner across the group.

You will be reporting to the Ceo of BESIX, working closely together with other senior managers appointed as executive sponsor depending on the project of change and transformation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Shape, lead and implement a change management process across the group to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by business objectives;
  • Develop project strategies and plans, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
  • Co-create with different project members solutions to achieve sustainable change through all layers of the organization – from senior leadership to people on the floor; 
  • Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. 
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance through all layers of the organization
  • Lead/facilitate meetings to ensure an understanding of the current company culture, and jointly develop a change adoption plan in our different entities.
  • Create and execute change programs and activities such as innovative communications, out-of-the-box workshop facilitation, and pioneering organization design and assessments;
  • Develop short and long-term goals, KPIs, and objectives, and develop and execute against annual operational plan.
     

Qualifications

 

  • You have a Master Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • You have 5-10 years of experience in organizational transformation consulting, leadership alignment, stakeholder management, change management and project management;
  • You have experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools 
  • You have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • You are resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Problem solving and root cause identification skills 
  • You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and an excellent active listening skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French with a good knowledge of English
  • You can easily build strong relations with employees, management and colleagues;
  • You enjoy thinking outside of the box and coming up with innovative and creative solutions;
  •  You have a commercial attitude and can make an impact that matters on the development of our business
