The Communication department of BESIX Group wishes to reinforce its team as it faces multiple new challenges in external and internal communications. We therefore propose an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Communication Expert to join the Communication team of BESIX Group, the largest Belgian Group operating in the construction of buildings, infrastructure, environmental projects and property development, headquartered in Brussels (Woluwé-Saint-Lambert).

Your responsibilities include:

• Steer the definition of communication projects scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Handle the creation and implementation of multiple forms of communication projects, such as the quarterly company magazine and annual activity report.
• Coordinate internal/external resources for the flawless execution of communication projects.
• Ensure that all communication projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Can coordinate a broad framework of projects to avoid communication overload, confusion and inconsistency.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, keep track of the communication project performance and steer when necessary.
• Successfully manage relationships with stakeholders.

Essential:

• Outstanding storytelling/copywriting/editorial skills with excellent verbal and written French or Dutch language skills; an excellent command of the other national language and English.
• Evidence of strong project management skills (esp. in editorial publications) and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and deliver high quality results.
• The ability to build strong relationships with peers and with partners outside the team.
• Self-motivated communications expert.
• Fun to be with!

Desirable:

• Experience in working effectively across functions and levels.
• Well-developed planning skills
• Relevant working experience (min. 5 years) 
• Degree in communication, journalism, political science or modern literature
