International Sales Manager (Hospitality A-STAY)

A-STAY is a dynamic start-up company based in Mechelen, specialized in real estate and 'smart buildings'. A-STAY will develop 7,000 smart rooms in 35 cities around the world over the next five years. The first 192 smart-rooms will open in Antwerp (Belgium) in Q4 of 2019 followed Chisinau in Moldova and Diegem in Brussels, Belgium. A-STAY provides an innovative residence solution for expats, millennials, business travelers and tourists to stay from one night to one year.
We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and self-motivated International Sales Manager to join our team! The candidate will be responsible for generating, prospecting and outreaching to prospective clients as well as pitching, touring and closing those prospects in market. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
The primary function of the Sales Manager is to increase the revenue and sales through direct sales, marketing, and B2B sales.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in sales in the Belgian market, interested in client relationship and business development in the hotel sector.
Research, identify and establish new business sales contacts, develop relationships and revenue opportunities from B2B key clients.
Actively prospect the market, responsible for mapping and identifying potential business partners. Manage action plans and deliver on commitments to drive value for our business partners.
Achieve monthly KPI’s; Occupancy, Rate, RevPar, ROI, from advertising and promotions.
Responsible for business generation, drive total profitable revenue growth and market share and manage existing and new client relationships for the hotels in the Belgian market and international.
Develop and implement sales action plans, prepare a strategic sales plan for each account which contributes to the overall sales strategy.
Negotiate contracts with key clients and ensure regular communication with clients to deliver key messages and support the hotels as/when required.
Responsible for the whole sales cycle: market prospection, first approach, online demos and meetings, company presentation and contract closing.
You will work in Antwerp and Bruxelles.
- Minimum 5 years of sales, marketing and service experience in the hospitality/accommodation industry.
Proven track record driving sales B2B in the hospitality environment.
Fluent in English, Dutch and French and good knowledge of German.
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and effective time management skills.
Demonstrated innovative ability to meet sales targets and grow business; results oriented.
Excellent communication skills (including group presentations), relationship skills and negotiation skills.
Proficient knowledge in use of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and access database tools
