Flamant, the Belgian interiors specialist, has been taken over by BESIX Group. Flamant is in Belgium and abroad famous for its interior decoration and – concepts. It was established in 1978 and is an official royal warrant holder since 2007. It has six of its own stores (Flamant Knokke, Sint-Martens-Latem, Sint-Genesius-Rode, Antwerp, Brussels), including one in Paris. Its products are also available in more than 200 stores worldwide.

Flamant is looking for an Accountant for the financial department at the head office in Geraardsbergen . This person will be responsible for following tasks:

• Control and allocation of accounting transactions such as purchase and sales invoices.
• Pay off payments and bank reconciliations
• Follow-up of the accounts receivable / payable
• Management of VAT administration (VAT declaration, Instrastat, ...)
• Calculation of commissions
• Processing of the expense reports
• Preparation of the month-end closing and legal reporting obligations, including annual reporting.

• Belgian Accountancy-Tax diploma required
• An excellent knowledge of Dutch, and good knowledge of French and English.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Accountant A-Z or experience A-Y with the ambition to further evolve in the field of expertise
