Opportunity for a talented Cyber engineer to assist in the training of security professionals to become masters in defending and testing systems and networks. The training is both intense and immersive and requires that the applicant be able to both teach basic cyber security skills as

well as quickly self-learn new technologies and techniques for future classroom training.

This position is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills and continue a

technical growth track of SME within cyber exploitation. In this position you will provide

instruction and hands on mentorship in a defined long term academy setting to

qualified students being prepared for release as certified operators. You will

have the privilege of influencing course content, evaluating student’s skills,

preparing them for final grading, and then providing after academy support as a

resource during active operations. You will have the support of other

instructors and a technical support staff that provides an open and

configurable training environment.

Must be passionate about the field of cyber security. Required to speak and present technical

information in a classroom environment to ten to fifteen professionals. Must enjoy public speaking and engaging with audience

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering or related

technical discipline. Three to five years of applicable systems administration

and cyber security experience. 

Hands-on knowledge of a mix of the following technologies and skills: 

• TCP/IP protocols

• Penetration testing (experience with the Metasploit Framework preferred)

• Computer and Network Forensics

• Firewalls (especially IPTables)

• Intrusion Detection Systems

• Wireshark

• Active Directory

• Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP through Server 2012)

• Linux Operating Systems

• Macintosh Operating Systems

• Software development and scripting languages

• Reverse Engineering and Malware analysis

• Vulnerability Assessments

• Powershell scripting

• Python programming

• Cryptography

Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, OSCP, OSCE, CCNA, SANS
