LOCATION: Dubai, UAE

Job Description

  • Responsible for top-line sales achievements against set and agreed budgets and gross margins.
  • The candidate will be managing a go-to-market team including salesmen, merchandisers & Shelf fillers.
  • Responsible for preparing sales forecasts by Agency/Customer/SKU level in coordination with the Principal Affairs Managers or Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Responsible for allocating targets and KPIs to designated sales & merchandising teams ensuring budgets are timely achieved.
  • Responsible for planning and effectively implementing trade marketing activities.
  • Responsible for negotiating & closing Business Development Agreements (BDA’s) with the Key Accounts
  • Responsible for new launch activation, listing, distribution strategies, and effective and timely go-to-market launch planning.
  • Perform regular monthly and quarterly business analysis with senior management about the performance of his team against budgets & targets.

 

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience managing Sales & Merchandising Teams within FMCG/Retail relevant segments in the UAE
  • Knowledge of planning and executing trade marketing activities
  • Knowledge of the UAE Key Accounts & Retail Market
  • University Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or any relevant fields
  • Further qualifications or training in Sales & Distribution are a plus
  • Competent with Excel / Sales CRM / Oracle
  • Written and Oral Presentations Skills
  • Fluent in English (Reading, Writing, Communicating); Arabic or Hindu is an advantage.
