Job Description
Ensure the highest quality of legal advice is made available to the Authority in the most efficient way. Support the BOD in carrying out their corporate governance and regulatory compliance responsibilities
SUMMARY
- Act as an advisor to the BOD and CEO on matters of company law and corporate governance
- Provide accurate and timely advice on all legal matters
- Assist in ensuring that the Authority meets its legal responsibilities under Laws
- Manage the relationship with specialist external legal firms and practitioners as required
- Transfer files to external lawyers, in coordination with the BOD and CEO, and monitor their performance
- Manage litigations
- Analyze formal complaints against the Authority and advise on measures of action
- Ensure proper legal consultations are provided to departments
- Review and propose updates to the Authority - document as needed
- Prepare legal matters for contracts, agreements and decisions
- Review and approve all contracts, agreements and warnings
- Receive, review and advise on all legal affairs related to personnel
- Review the texts of standard contracts, agreements and forms
- Ensure the registration of agreements (sale, mortgage, mortgage release, parceling) before ministries, governmental departments and administrations
Qualifications
- Law Degree with High Academic Achievements
- Master's Degree is a plus
