Binance Labs is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Investment Director with a passion for Web3 technologies. Ideal candidates are early in their career, with 3 to 5 years of experience in blockchain/ crypto industry coming from a technical background, such as cryptography research, crypto project research. No prior investment experience is required but a strong understanding of blockchain technology and a keen interest in venture capital and investment strategies are essential.
 

Key Responsibilities

- **Deal Sourcing:** Develop and maintain a network of industry leaders, innovators, and researchers to continuously source high-quality investment prospects.

- **Technical Evaluation:** Conduct thorough technical due diligence on potential investment opportunities, focusing on the soundness of technological innovations and project feasibility.

- **Market Research:** Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and projects in the blockchain and Web3 space to identify potential investment opportunities.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the Binance Labs team to select high-potential startups, providing technical insights and evaluations.

- **Mentorship and Support:** Assist portfolio companies with technical challenges and provide guidance to help them scale their technologies and achieve successful market entry.

Requirements

- **Technical Background:** 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical field related to blockchain, cryptography, or other relevant areas. Experience in cryptography research is a plus.

- **Analytical Skills:** Strong ability to analyze and evaluate the technical aspects of Web3 projects and startups. 

- **Passion for Web3:** Deep interest in blockchain technologies and the evolving landscape of decentralized systems.

- **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders; able to communicate effectively and represent labs well to build high quality connections and gain access to the best projects in early stage

- **Collaborative Spirit:** Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

- **Problem-Solving:** Proactive approach to identifying and solving complex problems within portfolio companies and potential investments.
