Life At Azibo
Our team operates fully remotely, spread across the continental US. We have a ‘home base’ in San Mateo, CA where we gather semi-regularly in person to build rapport, have fun, and engage in strategic working sessions. We have common interest groups, Donut Dates, peer recognition programs and a Culture Committee to make sure we connect as humans as well as co-workers. We believe in resting, focusing and recharging, which is why we have things like Open PTO and No Meeting Wednesdays.
Job Description
Basic Role Details:
As a Blog Writer at Azibo, your essential duty is to consistently create high-quality, SEO-optimized content, pivotal for amplifying our organic traffic and online presence. Within our collaborative work setting, you will closely engage with various teams, integrating their insights into impactful content.
Your responsibilities extend beyond writing SEO-driven articles to include mastering specific tools to align content with quality standards and SEO best practices. You will play a key role in our content strategy, from developing engaging materials for our weekly newsletter to adapting podcast episodes into compelling written formats that deeply engage our audience.
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in blog writing, evidenced by a portfolio of SEO-optimized content. Proficiency in SEO, including keyword research, analytics, and the use of leading SEO tools, is required. While experience producing diverse types of content is appreciated, the focus is on your ability to deliver engaging, high-quality blog posts.
Your Impact:
- Research, write, and edit SEO-optimized articles that align with our content strategy and audience needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
- Assist in the development and execution of our weekly newsletter, curating and crafting engaging content.
- Transform podcast episodes into written articles, maintaining consistency in style and messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and SEO.
- Continuously optimize existing content for search engines and user experience.
- Participate in content planning meetings and contribute ideas for content strategy improvements.
Qualifications
What we’ll need from you:
- Proven experience in blog article content creation.
- The ability to produce high volumes of content on a weekly basis (3 pieces per day)
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to grammar and style.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., Webflow).
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., AHREFS, SurferSEO) is a must.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for staying updated on industry trends and digital marketing.
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your role
- The ability to roll with the punches and be comfortable with ambiguity (we’re a start-up after all!)
