Job Description
Support the company's growth strategy by researching and evaluating acquisition targets, partnership opportunities, and new markets.
Your daily life:
- Research potential acquisition targets across the U.S.
- Analyze competitors, market trends, and industry developments.
- Evaluate companies based on service offerings, geographic reach, and strategic fit.
- Build and maintain acquisition prospect lists and company profiles.
- Prepare executive summaries, scorecards, and recommendations.
- Track M&A activity within tax consulting, engineering, and professional services sectors.
- Support leadership with strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Idealy, but not exclusively:
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Previous internship, project, or coursework in finance, consulting, market research, or corporate strategy
- Familiarity with financial analysis, valuation, or M&A concepts
- Experience using research tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, or similar platforms

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Strategic and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation
- This position pays $15-18/hour depending on qualifications and experience, and is intended for educational and professional development purposes.
