📍 Location: Houston, TX (Galleria area) In-office (with HR Manager) 
⏳ Duration: 8 weeks (Summer Internship) 
🕒 Schedule: 20 hours per week, 3 days per week, start date June 22, 2026 
💼 Department: Human Resources 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional consulting and sales environment. This internship provides exposure to core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations.

This role requires a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic workplace and maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding Support
    • Assist with new hire onboarding processes, documentation, and orientation logistics
  • Talent Acquisition
    • In conjunction with our shared services recruiting team, learn about posting job openings, screening resumes, and support candidate sourcing efforts in our ATS
  • Recruitment Coordination
    • In coordination with our shared serviced recruiting team, assist with scheduling interviews, communicate with candidates, and assist with tracking hiring activities
  • Compliance Review
    • Support audits of employee files and ensure documentation aligns with HR policies
  • HRIS Data Entry
    • Maintain accurate employee data and update records in HR systems
  • Learning & Development
    • Assist with training coordination and development initiatives
  • Project Management
    • Support HR projects, policy updates, process improvements, and reporting as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Human Resources
    • Business Administration
    • Or a related field

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with AI tools, specifically Microsoft Copilot
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Compensation 

  • This position pays up to $15/hour and is intended for educational and professional development purposes.
