Job Description
AWS Cloud Engineer, who is responsible for the development and operation of our business-critical cloud infrastructure and service platform
- you evaluate and implement new technologies and cloud-based concepts
- you follow the required security aspects and ensure their implementation
- you manage the organization and further development of the Axel Springer cloud platform and thereby enable our development teams to run BILD, Welt and other national news brands
- you collaborate with your team to find the best solutions
- you ensure the availability and advancement of our infrastructure
Qualifications
motivated Cloud Engineer with experience in at least one of the following technology areas
- Kubernetes & GitOps Toolkit like Flux; network design; VM-solutions in the cloud; allocation of highly available data bases and storages; security & observability
- you have several years of experience with a multitude of AWS services
- you have several years of experience in the DevOps field with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform
- you enjoy presenting your ideas to, and share your knowledge with your colleagues
- you steadily improve your allocated systems – "design, build, deploy & run" is your motto
- you find the right balance between a pragmatic and the best possible solution
- you are fluent in English and motivated to learn German
