Avvia is looking for a DevOps Engineer on behalf of his client.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining the company’s CI/CD framework

• Diagnosing CI/CD pipelines execution failures and when necessary manage the escalation process. 

• Work closely with the development team.

• You will maintain and analyze alerts from monitoring systems, and work creatively to propose fixes.

• You will take part in meetings and workshops with the DevOps team, to give your opinion and ideas, describe your experiences using the tools, in order to continuously improve infrastructure management best practices and CI/CD system.

Some of the skills that you will regularly require:

• Speaking/writing in French or English (at least one of them),

• REST and RESTful APIs 

• 3+ years experience of Linux Shell scripting (bash), docker and git.

• Working experience with Circle Ci (or similar)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes (or similar).

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code concept, and tools like terraform, or ansible

• ELK dashboards, Prometheus, and Grafana, 

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with secret management in infrastructures e.g. hashicorp vault or secrethub.

• Knowledge of bots frameworks such as hubot.

• Knowledge of one development language (ideally Java).

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
