AVVIA is looking for a major OFFSHORE WIND operatior a client representative for instalaltion of interray cable 

 

 

Job Description

 

SCOPE OF WORK : 

 

The IAC-I contract contains the following cable installation related activities: route preparation (boulder picking, boulder clearance and pre-trenching with a plough), survey, pull-in, cable lay, post-lay burial (jetting & cutting), backfilling with a plough and termination & testing for all three projects sites.

 

For Vesterhav Nord & Syd (VHN & VHS), the IAC-I contract will also contain the shore pull and installation of 4 export cables.

 

For Danish Kriegers Flak (DKF), the IAC-I contract will also include array cable pull-in and terminations onto two Offshore Substations.

 

KEY COMPETENCIES :

 

The candidates being put forward as Employer’s Representatives are to have proven experience in the construction and commissioning phase of offshore wind projects. In particular have experience in Cable Installation related activities such as route preparation, cable handling, lay, burial, terminations and testing.

 

The candidates must have good communication skills. Fluency in English, written and spoken are essential. Danish language skills are an advantage. The candidates must have good cooperation and organisational skills. Proactive and assertive to project demands.

 

Have good MS Office skills e.g. Excel, Word, Acrobat.

 

Be physically fit and hold valid medical certificate for working offshore.

 

Be trained for offshore works including working at heights and confined space according to GWO standards and VKF HSE Management Plan. Hold valid respective certificates (GWO First Aid, Sea Survival, HUET etc.).

 

PROJECTS : 

 

Provision of Employer Representatives for Cable Installation at Vattenfall’s Vesterhav Nord & Syd as well as Danish Kriegers Flak projects, together referred to as VKF Project (The Project)

Hamburg or Eisbjerg
