Company Description

Aviko is a leading European potato processor, supplying frozen and chilled specialties to foodservice, retail and industrial customers in over 110 countries. As part of Royal Cosun, we focus on innovation, value-added growth and strong customer partnerships.

Snackables are one of our most exciting growth platforms — broadening the portfolio beyond core potato products and opening new opportunities across QSR, foodservice and key account channels.

As Business Development Manager – Snackables, you will own and accelerate the growth of our snackables category across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, focusing on QSR, foodservice and retail key accounts. You will win new customers and turn category opportunities into profitable, sustainable business.

With revenue and margin responsibility, you will have the autonomy to shape customer strategy and negotiations. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, performance-related reward and international career development.

Job Description

  • Grow strategic snackables accounts across the DACH region’s QSR, foodservice and retail channels.

  • Build and convert a strong commercial pipeline, from prospecting and needs analysis to onboarding.

  • Turn customer, consumer and category insights into compelling propositions with Marketing, NPD and Sales.

  • Lead pricing, contract and partnership negotiations while protecting revenue, volume and margin.

  • Manage senior customer stakeholders across procurement, category, operations, quality and innovation.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration by coordinating internal teams, taking ownership of execution and ensuring customer solutions are delivered successfully and profitably.

  • Use market, competitor and category developments to guide strategy and strengthen Aviko’s position.

  • Adapt the commercial approach to different customer structures, channel dynamics and market opportunities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Extensive FMCG commercial experience, ideally in snackables, savoury snacking, frozen food or a related category.

  • Proven success in business development, account management and category growth with strategic or multi-site customers.

  • Strong knowledge of QSR, foodservice, distributors and route-to-market models.

  • Commercial strength in pricing, negotiation, margin and long-term customer development.

  • Ability to think beyond individual products and turn customer, market and category insights into broader business concepts, compelling propositions, account plans and commercial strategies.

  • Excellent senior-level communication, presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Confidence and resilience to navigate complex organisational structures, maintain credibility and deliver results under pressure.

  • An entrepreneurial, analytical and self-directed mindset with a passion for growth.

  • Fluency in German and English, with a minimum B2 level in both languages; C1 is preferred.

Desirable

  • Experience with complex decision-making units in large QSR or foodservice organisations.

  • Knowledge of food processing and back-of-house operations.

  • Culinary expertise or experience translating food concepts into compelling customer solutions.

  • Consultative selling skills and the ability to identify value-chain improvements.

  • Experience with international teams, ideally across Europe.

  • Experience with retail customers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This field-based role covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with regular customer travel across the region and periodic visits to Aviko’s headquarters in Steenderen, the Netherlands. Reporting to the DACH Commercial Manager, you will contribute to the regional strategy and P&L.
