Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
Avery Dennison seeking a dedicated ELS Specialist to drive Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS). You would be a key member of the Greater China ELS team, and the vital link across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Process, Maintenance. We need you to understand the operations strategy and play a pivotal role in bridging any efficiency gaps or improvement opportunities between process frameworks and the line of business. Some essential qualities that we'd like you to bring to the table include a data-driven and value-stream-oriented approach, Lean Six Sigma methodology skills, and proven project leadership experience, alongside the ability to engage with varied groups of stakeholders and collaborate effectively across different teams
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Partner with functional leaders to deploy Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) practices like “MDI”, “Idea to actions”, “GEMBA walk” and drive operational excellence across all functions to achieve business KPIs.
Proactively analyze production processes and expenditure to identify, prioritize, and develop continuous improvement opportunities using Lean Six Sigma and digital tools.
Facilitate and lead Kaizen events and deliver structured Lean Six Sigma training programs.
Track and monitor team progress in implementing ELS and digital techniques, proactively removing operational roadblocks as they arise.
Coach and support cross-functional teams and individuals in executing continuous improvement initiatives and key capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
Act as a change catalyst to foster best-practice sharing and implementation across ELS networks and business units.
Leverage expertise in industrial automation and AI-driven manufacturing to propose and drive modern optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Science, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or PMP certification is preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience in Lean Sigma or Digital role in manufacturing industry
Proven track record in Continuous Improvement (Lean Production & Six Sigma) and Lean Sigma deployment.
Solid experience in the manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of shop-floor operations and process optimization.
Proficient in leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency, with a solid understanding of industrial automation.
Familiar with ERP and MES systems is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset and robust project management skills
Fluent in English (both written and spoken), capable of communicating effectively in an international business setting.
Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven attitude with a strong passion for continuous learning and driving operational excellence.
