Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
We are currently driving a major regional digital transformation to deploy our aligned common Oracle Fusion ERP, Boundary Systems and Master Data processes across the Asia Pacific region. Having successfully rolled out our regional standard in India, ASEAN, and China, our next strategic milestone is Korea.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
As an integral part of the larger project team, this role will report to the ERP IT Lead during the project implementation phase, and once the project is completed, the role will move under the IT Oracle FUSION team. You will be embedded directly within the project team, working closely with our main System Integrator, Regional IT Business Analysts and Business SMEs, and Local Korea Deployment teams, to transition successfully from legacy systems to our future Oracle FUSION platform.
Beyond the implementation phase, you will transition into the long-term local Oracle FUSION champion and primary IT point of contact for Korea teams. In this permanent role, you will work closely with the local business while collaborating behind the scenes with our larger IT organization and Application Management Services (AMS) teams to drive ongoing change management, day-to-day operations, and continuous process improvements, in close partnership with the local Korea teams.
- Project Collaboration: Active partnership with the Main SI, Regional IT Business Analyst, and Regional Business SMEs during the Korea implementation to ensure alignment, quality design, and a smooth deployment.
- Local Oracle Championship: Serve as the go-to local face of Oracle ERP for the Korea business team post-go-live, leading discussions on system utilization and future improvements.
- Bridge to Regional and Global IT: Act as the local escalation point and strategic liaison, bringing in the larger regional IT organization and AMS support teams behind the scenes to handle day-to-day operational issues and system maintenance.
- Ongoing Change Management: Manage localized change management, process improvements, and the rollouts of Oracle's quarterly system updates, ensuring the Korea business stays optimized and aligned with global standards.
- Ecosystem Integration: Ensure a seamless fit not just within core Oracle ERP, but also across our common MDM standards and all connected core systems.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Experience: 10+ years of strong functional experience executing Oracle ERP solutions – Oracle Fusion Cloud experience is highly preferred.
- Functional Expertise: Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core Oracle functional area—such as Finance, Plan-to-Deliver (P2D), or Order-to-Cash (O2C)—is a must-have.
- System Breadth: A broad, high-level understanding of the overall Oracle ERP ecosystem, common MDM concepts, and how ERP integrates with surrounding connected core systems.
- Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual with excellent communication skills in both English and Korean to effectively bridge local business needs with regional IT strategy.
- Location & Travel Flexibility: Based in Anyang, but expected to work frequently on-site at our Chungju Plant. Must be flexible to travel to other operational sites across Korea and the APAC region on an as-needed basis.
- Collaboration & Mindset: Proven ability to work within a matrixed global team and leverage a larger IT organization for support. You should possess a transformational mindset, ready to support an active rollout and evolve into an operational local leader.
- Growth Mindset: An openness to leveraging emerging technologies for business growth, with a particular interest in AI and data analytics to drive value beyond the core ERP implementation.
