Job Description
Shift: Nights, 7:00PM to 7:00AM
Pay: $22.09/hr plus $2/hr shift differential
Are you an organized, detail-oriented logistics professional looking to join a high-performing team? Avery Dennison is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Painesville, OH! In this role, you will manage daily shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and inventory to keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Freight & Dock Operations: Arrange freight pick-ups, load/unload trucks, and coordinate dock activities for incoming stock, scrap, and parcel deliveries.
Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming raw materials, process receipts in Oracle, tag inventory, and prepare shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices).
Inventory Control: Perform audits, enforce FIFO procedures, and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate digital and physical records.
Collaboration: Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and carriers to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/logistics experience.
Tow motor (forklift) certification required; DOT/Hazmat preferred.
Computer proficiency (Oracle ERP preferred, MS Office).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, handle shifting priorities, and work overtime as needed.
