Job Description
As a Business System Analyst at Avery Dennison, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. The purpose of this role is to analyze, optimize, and maintain enterprise business systems to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and support strategic organizational objectives across departments.
Key Responsibilities
This position operates on a hybrid working model out of our Longford site.
Partner with key business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements and technical specifications for system enhancements.
Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective technical or process solutions.
Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation to ensure robust functionality prior to deployment.
Map current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, integration, and continuous improvement.
Develop detailed documentation, process workflows, and deliver training to end-users across teams.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business System Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar enterprise IT role.
Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system testing methodologies and implementation
Skills you need to succeed:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
