Job Description
This position will be responsible for developing, deploying and supporting the go to market strategy and future product & service portfolio for the Architecture segment across graphics and window films materials within Avery Dennison’s Graphics business. This role will be key in driving the annual strategic planning process within the segment; assessing market and product opportunities, creating new channels, key strategic alliances and joint initiatives with partners; and executing segment growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Build the vision and strategy, including expanding the product/service portfolio (graphics and window films)
Identify and quantify new growth opportunities, by analyzing industry trends, growth drivers, competitive dynamics and vetting new or existing strategic partners
Immerse oneself in the ecosystem of our customers within the Architecture segment.
Manage and synthesize customer research and insights to help drive the segment forward.
Facilitate cross-collaboration with other BUs and within graphics to build the overall strategy and product solution roadmap.
Develop strategic and tactical/business plans which effectively lead to the development of new businesses within the company.
Architect and deploy operational workflows where necessary to ensure strategy is translated into repeatable, scalable execution.
Provide hands-on oversight with Marketing and cross-functional team of Architecture channel partners and distributors, including onboarding, performance troubleshooting, and program compliance to maintain ecosystem health and alignment with segment goals.
Manage resource allocation and budget approval for segment initiatives, ensuring financial discipline and ROI to the Graphics business.
Direct oversight of Branding Segment initiatives and team
Drive team effectiveness through personnel management, including talent acquisition, and coaching, ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years business experience, with preference in product management and marketing.
Build vision and strategy from the ground up, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful strategies.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong teamwork and relationship building skills and financial and business acumen.
Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
Strong customer focus and orientation.
