Job Description

Are you a flexible team player who loves to learn new skills? Avery Dennison is looking for a dependable Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our facility's success by operating production equipment, managing quality control inspections, and collaborating across departments to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.   • Want to start sooner? If you are available to work now at our current location in Rancho Cucamonga, you can jumpstart your onboarding and training immediately.

  • Ready for Perris? All candidates must be willing and able to commute to/work out of the new Perris location once the move is finalized.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Operate & Maintain: Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools.

  • Quality Control: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct material inspections, verify product specifications, and maintain detailed quality logs.

  • Problem Solve: Participate in root-cause analysis to address quality issues and suggest process enhancements.

  • Collaborate: Partner with team members to ensure safety protocols and 5S cleanliness standards are met.

  • Cross-Train: Actively learn multiple technical functions and fill operational gaps as production priorities shift.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications.

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of a shift and safely lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as requested.

Shifts & Compensation

  • A Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • B Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

  • C Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

The hourly rate for this position is $18.94-$23.99 / hour.
The hiring wage rate range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range.
