About the role
As Director Real Estate, you will lead the Corporate Real Estate function, serving as the senior strategic partner to Business teams and Executive leadership across all divisions globally. You will work in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment, providing high-level strategic oversight, governance, and management for a wide variety of complex real estate portfolios across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the Company’s global real estate transactions, leading high-stakes contract negotiations for offices, production sites, and land while providing executive oversight for leases, purchases, expansions, and renewals.
- Lead large-scale strategic real estate projects including global expansions, relocations, redevelopments, and the disposal of land and buildings to align with long-term enterprise business plans.
- Act as a senior consultant to internal partners, including Business Unit Presidents and Functional VPs, to define strategic needs, portfolio requirements, and financial outcomes.
- Direct the activities and set the negotiation strategies of global external service provider teams, including international real estate brokers and consultants, for the acquisition and disposition of property.
- Lead real estate due diligence for major M&A and investment projects, ensuring all transactions globally comply with internal governance, statutory requirements, and corporate financial standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred for Director level).
- Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience in large multinational corporations or global real estate brokerage, with a proven track record of managing international portfolios.
- Demonstrated mastery in leading complex real estate negotiations across multiple geographies with a deep understanding of global real estate practices and statutory requirements.
- Advanced financial acumen with the ability to perform complex financial modeling and synthesize data into strategic business recommendations for executive leadership.
- Superior organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations and influence stakeholders at the highest levels of the organization.
- Must be based in The Netherlands or UK and authorized to work without sponsorship
