Job Description

We are seeking a high-impact, visionary leader to serve as the Director Global Operations Strategy Transformation. This is a pivotal role in determining which global markets we inhabit and how our capital is deployed to ensure long-term competitive advantages. You will be responsible for re-evaluating our global manufacturing and supply footprint, identifying cost-optimization opportunities, and leading the end-to-end migration of business units or production lines to high-efficiency regions.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of our operational architecture from 'Resilient' to Antifragile; designing systems that don't just withstand macroeconomic shocks or geopolitical volatility, but actively harvest these disruptions to catalyze innovation and gain market share
  • Create the 3-to-5-year vision for the Apparel division’s global operational physical presence, balancing cost, resilience, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional leaders in creating an "Adaptive Footprint" model that accounts for geopolitical shifts, and trade volatility within our operational footprint
  • Develop relevant strategies that design a supply chain that allows the company to pivot production between regions/sites with minimal friction.
  • Design the Transformation Playbooks to execute business migrations.
  • Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy that leverages total cost of ownership models 
  • Conduct continuous Footprint Reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of current manufacturing and distribution sites. 
  • Analyze  global macroeconomic indicators, client trends, commercial data, business insights, geographic advantages, including labor costs, tax incentives, logistics infrastructure, and trade regulations. 
  • Partner with regional business leaders in making relevant footprint optimisation decisions 
  • Work with Operations leaders, Mfg 4.0,  and technology leadership to ensure we have the platforms and tools to maximize efficiency across our global operations footprint
  • Lead business migration in partnership with regional execution project teams
  • Advance use of digital and AI tools to accelerate planning and execution of “Adaptive Footprint” model 
  • Simplify the overall footprint assessment and evaluation process for a more proactive future response

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance; MBA or CSCP/CPSM certification highly preferred.
  • 15+ years in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Operations Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale business migrations, operations design
  • AI Champion with passion and track record of leveraging digital technology 
  • Advanced understanding of business, strategic operating models, P&L management, CapEx/OpEx budgeting, and financial modeling.  
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence teams through the uncertainty of restructuring. 
  • Expert at turning complex datasets into actionable executive summaries. 
  • Experience navigating international trade laws, customs, and diverse cultural business environments.
