About the role
The prime focus of this role is to provide reporting and analytical support to the Procurement organization. You will contribute to the implementation of a standard Forecasting process and will be exposed to the Procurement Organization. As part of the month-end close activities in this position, you will get an opportunity to assist the team and collaborate with FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) function and Global Procurement Finance of Avery Dennison. This internship is scheduled to start preferably on 1st or 18th of May 2026 for a duration of 6 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 4-5 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Support the monthly reporting and analysis to ensure business owners get timely and accurate insights on their financial performance regarding Procurement.
Support initiatives on improving the working capital, specifically related to supplier payment terms for Direct Procurement.
Support the monthly review of vendor rebates with procurement and booking accruals for the Controlling team.
Prepare ad hoc internal reporting, material cost analysis, updating the performance reports models and provide other associated support to the Procurement Finance teams.
Qualifications
Required
Currently following a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics or a related study.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of other languages would be a strong benefit.
Skills you need to succeed
Highly motivated and creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow tasks through to ensure quality and productivity standards are met at all times.
Previous experience with complex data analysis is a plus.
