Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

To put into practice EHS activities in compliance with Local, regulations, customers as well as Avery Dennison corporate policies. The incumbent will deploy EHS KPI to achieve of all EHS performance objectives. The incumbent will effectively coordinate with all departments to run activities, programs and develop processes in a manner consistent with role expectations and ensure regular adherence to standards while promoting a safe, clean and productive workplace.
This role is not limited in factory but in MSEA region.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- To deploy EHS KPI to department and strictly following up to ensure their completion and in-time supports.
- Leading BBS (Behavior-based Safety) program and all EHS activities.
- Assist EHS Manager to develop and maintain EHS system and Fire safety system to maintain Zero accident and Zero Fire.
- Deploy Management of change (MOC) program and monitor workplace control measures.
- Participate in development of EHS standards: Machinery safety, Industrial Hygiene, operational procedure, work instructions, training material, risk assessment, etc.
- Manage EHS data reporting and conduct analysis and coordinate with relevant departments for timely closing.
- Compile process safety information for each covered process and keep readily accessible to process employees and management as well as updated on an annual basis.
- Use a structured processes score card to measure and communicate safety/environmental performance with both leading results and indicators.
- Serve as a resource to the site manager in regards to EH&S matters and act as a daily point of contact for all EH&S issues. Assists line and staff management in understanding EHS regulations and standards, including guidance on handling Avery Dennison (AD)compliance, inspections, and citations.
- Support to mange Occupational heath matters at workplace.
- Implements environmental, health and safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
- Act as a resource and mentor to facility safety teams. Investigate all releases, injuries and near-misses.
- Leading project or program as assignment from EHS manager.

- Deploy and execute EHS programs and KPIs in alignment with site EHS objectives and annual plans, ensuring timely completion and effective follow-up actions.
- Own and lead assigned EHS programs including legal compliance activities: occupational health and safety training, measuring environment, strict equipments management, fire safety, government report..,etc
- Maintain and continuously improve EHS management systems, including procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, training materials, and operational controls.
- Coordinate and support EHS compliance activities such as Higg FEM, RB audits, legal compliance reviews, and internal EHS assurance programs; track findings and ensure timely closure.
- Conduct EHS data collection, analysis, and reporting; identify trends, at-risk behaviors, and improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments.
- Support process safety, fire safety, chemical management, occupational health, and hazardous work control programs to achieve Zero Accident and Zero Fire objectives.
- Participate in EHS projects, benchmarking activities, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Act as an EHS subject-matter resource for departments by providing guidance on EHS regulations, standards, and compliance expectations.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5-7 years of EHS experience with progressive work assignments.
- Strong commitment, strategic thinking and EHS management system.
-Advanced professional EHS certification (Nebosh IGC or equivalent certificates) is preferred.
-Experience on Behavior-based Safety (BBS) is a plus.
-Experience in life safety codes: Life Saving rules, training program, and Industrial hygiene.
-Good knowledge of Machinery safety and fire safety.
-Good problem solving skills, communication, teamwork and flexibility.
- Good at applicable Microsoft Office, google apps and function specific software.
- Good at English skills.
