Job Description
In this role, you will work 8AM-5PM, On Call Afterhours.
Opportunity
The Setup Designer plans, communicates, implements, and manages client set-up programming projects. The role acquires client requests that have revenue impact for development, evaluates and refines setup requirements, coordinates with other team representatives on implementation plans, and sets delivery schedules. Collaborates with team resources according to project needs. Supports existing programs and applications for a portfolio of clients. Creates, modifies, and tests set-up code, forms, and scripts.
► Key Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for multiple projects across one or multiple clients, ensuring that specifications of all set-up requirements of each project are met.
Analyze, interpret and manage client requirements and specifications for labels, strips, signs or any shelf edge media provided in our solutions.
Manages timelines, monitors progress and assists project team members.
Define business rules based upon data analysis and client requirements.
Design, develop and unit test the visual digital client deliverables for Vestcom client solutions.
Builds and maintains working relationships with internal cross-functional team members.
Maintains client relationships and favorable contacts within client accounts when called upon by Client Experience.
Produce highly structured data mappings for use in product composition.
Provide support to the Client Experience team as needed for production and client support.
Resolves client product set-up programming issues/ problems.
Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes- Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.
Qualifications
► Key Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Graphic Design or related field with 1-3 years of related experience in the field is required.
Proficiency in use of Setup Designer, Illustrator, Photoshop and other applicable software required.
Knowledge and capability with the processes for receiving and handling customer files and creating production-ready proofs.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of production tolerances (internal and external) and be able to manipulate files to meet these specs.
Skill in understanding, performing, and applying calculations necessary to complete work and utilize software applications, such as amounts, proportions, percentages, surface area, circumference, quantities, etc.
High degree of visual attention and accuracy skills to read, interpret, apply, and utilize colors, details, font sizes, label sizes.
Skills in effectively planning and organizing work and managing time.
Must have strong analytical, technical writing, and project management skills.
Ability to handle client interactions, both internal and external, with tact and decorum at all times.
Ability to effectively handle and solve time sensitive problems and situations.
Must be able and willing to provide production support in a time sensitive environment.

Additional Information
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - $29.00 / hour.
The hiring wage rate range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
