Job Description

The SML Coordinator III supports Shipping and Receiving by preparing orders for shipment, loading and unloading trucks, issuing receivers and bill of ladings, and conduct inventory cycle counts.

This posting is for an SML Coordinator III on C Shift in Quakertown and is subject to shift alignment. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply with those currently in the department receiving first consideration.

Qualifications

  • Follow safety policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for all key shipping and receiving activities.

  • Ensure that proper documentation is completed.

  • Prepare and load orders for shipment.

  • Unload and receive incoming shipments of raw and coated materials.

  • Ensure that trucks are loaded and secured properly.

  • Complete yard truck training and become certified within two weeks of start date.

  • Unload and put away pallets and supplies.

  • Perform assigned cycle counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.

  • Cut bills of lading.

  • Work in cooperation with material handlers and line packers in the finishing departments.

  • Unload and receive adhesive trucks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.

  • 1+ year materials handling experience (required).

  • Lift truck experience – Fork and Clamp Truck

  • Complete fork truck training and become licensed within two weeks of start date

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

  • Ability to make decisions and work independently.

  • Adaptable and able to learn quickly

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to work with others in a team environment. Actively promote collaboration & teamwork and resolve conflict.

  • Strong organization and computer skills
