Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:

    • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to timelines.

    • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., GPD, quality assurance, logistics) to ensure smooth production flow.

    • Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet demand forecasts and minimize downtime.

  2. Quality Control:

    • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

    • Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to reduce defects or inconsistencies.

    • Lead troubleshooting efforts in the event of production issues.

  3. Process Improvement:

    • Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase quality.

    • Implement lean manufacturing practices or other methodologies for continuous improvement.

  4. Team Leadership & Coordination:

    • Supervise and manage production teams, ensuring proper training, motivation, and adherence to safety standards.

    • Provide guidance to junior executives and production staff, offering mentorship and resolving conflicts when necessary.

    • Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.

  5. Inventory and Resource Management:

    • Monitor raw material stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.

    • Oversee machinery and equipment maintenance schedules to avoid delays.

    • Optimize resource utilization to prevent wastage and improve cost-efficiency.

  6. Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed records of production activities, schedules, and outcomes.

    • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting production KPIs, issues, and resolutions.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

  7. Problem-solving:

    • Address production bottlenecks, equipment failures, or supply chain disruptions promptly.

    • Analyze production data and take corrective actions to mitigate recurring issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 4+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP systems).

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Skills:

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
