Job Description
As Junior Commercial Finance Analyst you will be providing analytical support to financial processes and drive value to the business and manage risks. The Junior Commercial Finance Analyst supports the Commercial finance leaders to ensure objectives are met and supports the strategic, annual operating plan and forecast processes along with ad-hoc business projects. This role provides valuable experience and interaction with sales and marketing teams, offering excellent learning opportunities.
Activities may include, but are not limited to :
- Assist in reporting and analysis of commercial performance and profitability
- Support by providing accurate and timely information for month, quarter and year end close, as well as Forecasting processes
- Provide financial and business related analyses to assess the impact of various corporate projects and transactions
- For assigned projects; prepare details of work plan and schedule, complete detailed analysis, identify options, prepare reports for management
- Providing financial and analytical support to cross functional teams to support tactical and strategic business decisions
- Support development and implementation of standard reports in Cognos
- Participate in the initiatives related to: internal controls, ethics and values, OGSM, culture change
Qualifications
A 0-3 years experience in a medium to large size manufacturing company. Experience in a dynamic, multinational finance environment with proven ability to work with professionals of different cultural backgrounds, professions and levels.
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree in Business Economics
Essential:
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Talent for making complex topics easy to understand
- Proactive, independent self-starter mentality & able to meet strict deadlines
- Strong oral, presentation and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace including Google sheets/slides (MS Office Excel)
Will be considered a plus:
- Experience and knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, Oracle, Cognos)
- Some Knowledge of US GAAP and SoX guidelines
- Knowledge of lean/six sigma
- CPA/CMA
